Day 7 of Domestic Violence Awareness Month

There are a few things is like to point out:

1. Domestic violence is still a taboo subject in 2013

2. People opt out of helping victims because they don't want to be in the middle

3. The laws still suck

4. Victims are afraid to speak up because they have nowhere to go

5. Abusers use emotional and mental control to keep victims in an abusive environment. It's not by choice!!
