Moving forward

It's time to move forward....but how? It's time to do it. You know it is because you simply can't go back. Things will never be the same. They simply can't. The dynamics have changed. Things have happened that simply can't be reversed. Words have been spewed that can't be erased from the crevices of my psyche.  My greatest defeat has become the object of my greatest love and admiration. Funny, huh? The way that happened is mind boggling. Love and hate is truly a very thin line. The person that you invest the most energy into becomes the one to throw it all away....and for what? Wasn't love enough? Apparently not, well so it seemed. It's time to move on, although the pain hasn't stopped. Conflicted and afflicted by indifference...but it's time to let go...there's really nothing there...but a memory!
